Pastor’s Page – Clark's Chapel

Greetings!

I’m Ray Kiess, the current pastor at Clark’s Chapel UMC. I am a second career licensed local pastor. I have served at Clark’s Chapel since 2003 with the exception of a period from 2021 to 2022. I recently retired as the senior climate scientist at the Air Force’s 14th Weather Squadron, located at the Federal Building in Asheville. My wife, Marjory, is also a licensed local pastor and together, we serve Alexander Chapel UMC. We have two grown children and two grandchildren.

My passion is to provide biblical teaching and walk with you with the grace and love of Jesus Christ. I consider it a true joy to serve this wonderful church. Blessings! Pastor Ray
