Mission Statement

Our mission statement is:

“The Mission of Clark’s Chapel UMC is:

• to worship God
• to grow as we reach out in Christ’s name to serve the needy and one another
• to be an example of a loving community

as we share the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.”

We also concur with the mission of the Western North Carolina Conference: “Follow Jesus, Make Disciples, Transform the World.”

We believe in being “a loving community.”  This leads us to value our differences as we unite under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
