Worship …

Our worship service is at 10 am each Sunday Morning. Our worship style is traditional, yet informal. We sing the hymns, affirm our faith with the Apostle’s Creed, share prayer requests, and read and preach the Word of God. We typically serve Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. ¬†Occasionally, we have special music … a soloist, a piano or organ piece … all to the glory of God.

Missions …

In addition to supporting mission ministries of the United Methodist Church, we financially support North Buncombe Samaritan Ministries, part of the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry network and regularly donate food and toiletry items. Some of our members donate service hours, too. We also support the International Gospel League. We just formed a chapter of United Methodist Women with Alexander Chapel; UMW sponsors several local and connectional mission efforts.

With our friends from Alexander Chapel, we operate a Medical Lending Closet.¬† Housed at Clark’s Chapel, we lend out medical equipment and disposable items.
